Housing

Every child deserves a home.

Family Promise works to increase long-term housing stability by continuing to engage families beyond their time in our programs. Through extended support and ongoing connection, we help families strengthen independence and remain stably housed for the long term.

Housing Programs

Housing stability is the foundation of everything we do. Through a housing-first approach, we support families in securing safe housing so they can focus on rebuilding their lives.

With stability comes opportunity, empowering families to achieve sustainable income and long-term independence.

90% of families remain housed for at least two years.

Rapid Rehousing

This program helps families move directly from unstable situations, including living in their cars or on the streets, into safe, stable housing. Family Promise provides temporary assistance with rent and utilities for up to nine months while families participate in case management and work toward long-term stability.

Transitional Housing

Family Promise provides innovative housing solutions, including the ownership of two single-family homes dedicated to affordable housing within our community.

Our Transitional Housing program offers families experiencing housing instability the opportunity to live in a safe, stable home while receiving supportive services and paying an affordable monthly rent. This time-limited program is designed to help families increase income, strengthen employability, and build long-term stability.

During their participation, families work closely with our case management team, setting and achieving goals that support a transition to permanent, sustainable housing.

We are currently accepting applications for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom single-family home.

Applications open May 8, 2026, and close May 22, 2026.

Brighter Days Youth Housing

Through this program, Family Promise supports young adults ages 18–24 in securing stable housing while participating in case management to build a foundation for long-term success.

Veteran Family Housing

This program supports veteran families with minor children in securing stable housing. Family Promise signs the initial lease and, after one year of successful participation, transitions it to the family.

Serving up to five families at a time, the program includes case management for both adults and children to support long-term stability and independence.
