Kathie Southern
Executive Director
Kathie Southern has more than 25 years of nonprofit experience in the Central Florida area. As the Executive Director of Family Promise of Greater Orlando, Ms. Southern will continue to grow and expand the agency to ensure families experiencing homelessness will find a safe place to call home.
Prior to joining Family Promise in Orlando, Ms. Southern was the Director of Education and Community Relations at Heartland for Children for the past 13 years. While in that role, she was responsible for the oversight of Child Abuse Prevention efforts for the tri-county area and many other initiatives on behalf of children and families. Ms. Southern has dedicated 27 years of her life to helping those in the community who need it the most.
Ms. Southern attended the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and the University of Central Florida where she received a Master of Science in Health Services Administration.
Carin Anderson
Consultant
Carin Anderson is the Consultant to Family Promise. Ms. Anderson assists with donor development and grant writing.
She attended Emory University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in English and obtained a Master’s Degree in Communications from the University of Florida.
Victoria Brantley
Rapid Rehousing Success Coach
Victoria Brantley is a Housing Case Manager/Success Coach for Family Promise of Greater Orlando. Prior to her work at Family Promise, Ms. Brantley dedicated her career to empowering individuals through personal development and case management, focusing on educational and life success.
Ms. Brantley graduated from Everest University with dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Jennifer Campos
Business Manager
Jennifer Campos is the Business Manager for Family Promise of Greater Orlando. Jennifer oversees the Business Management functions associated with human resources, finance, procurement/purchasing and other operational areas. Prior to her work at Family Promise, Jennifer has worked in the non-profit sector in community outreach to assist families and individuals out of homelessness.
Jennifer has a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and International Business from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
Denise Fuller
Rapid Rehousing Success Coach
Denise Fuller serves as a Navigator for Family Promise of Greater Orlando, where she assesses the eligibility of individuals and families experiencing homelessness for entry into the Rapid Rehousing Program. With over 32 years of experience in the health sector, Denise has dedicated her career to supporting vulnerable communities, volunteering with various nonprofit organizations to assist individuals and families from the homeless community.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia and Education from the University of Technology, Jamaica, W.I.
Sylvana Hayling
Veteran Program Coordinator
Sylvana Hayling is a Housing Case Manager/Success Coach for Family Promise of Greater Orlando. She has worked in this capacity since 2020. Prior to her work at Family Promise, Ms. Hayling worked for the Bermuda Government as Financial Assistance Manager. She brings over 30 years of experience in the non-profit sector.
Ms. Hayling received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology.
Reynolds, Mary Jo
Prevention/Stabilization Success Coach
Mary Jo Reynolds is a Housing Case Manager/Success Coach for Family Promise of Greater Orlando. She has worked in this capacity since 2023. Prior to her work at Family Promise, Ms. Reynolds worked for Camelot Community Care as a Certified Child Welfare Case Manager. She is a member of American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and is currently working toward her CFLE credential (Certified Family Life Educator). She brings over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector.
Ms. Reynolds received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Family and Child Science from New Mexico State University. Mary Jo is a Master’s Degree Candidate at Regent University and will be graduating with an M.A. in Human Services next year.
Vivien Saunders
Rapid Rehousing Success Coach
Vivien Saunders is a Housing Case Manager/Success Coach for Family Promise of Greater Orlando. Prior to her work at Family Promise, Ms. Saunders worked at The Providencia Group as a Unification Specialist/Case Manager.
Ms. Saunders attended Carlos Albizu University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree.
Kaitlyn Smith
Youth Success Coach
Kaitlyn Smith is the Youth Housing Case Manager/Success Coach for Family Promise. She works with our youth to establish sustainable housing and life skills to maintain housing, employment, and daily living.
Kaitlyn graduated from Saint Leo University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Social Work. She has spent her career working in case management with youth, those experiencing homelessness, and emergency crisis.
MarCherie Thompkins
Development Manager
MarCherie Thompkins is the Development Manager for Family Promise. In this role, MarCherie cultivates individual and corporate donors as well as oversees initiatives such as events, direct mail campaigns, grant writing and agency communication.
She attended Florida State University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in English.
